Quotes from Mini Sulky customers - canine

Without my City Mini I just can't move fast enough to really exercise Gus [a Great Dane].  He trots between 8 and 10 miles an hour and runs at frightening speeds of over 30 miles an hour!  Even at speeds like that my City Mini rides beautifully smooth thanks to the superior independent suspension system!  We can run over a tree root or limb four inches in diameter on a wooded trail at a fast trot and only feel the slightest little bounce. It's truly amazing! - Cindy Scarpa, Connecticut USA, 2002.

After seeing a Mini, looking at the incredible design, riding in it, you will be wondering why anyone would want to use a two-shafted sulky with no shocks. It attaches to the dog with one snap—what could be more simple? - Lisa Nicolello. Florida USA, 2002

One of the things I like the most about the Mini is how quiet they are.  No banging or clanging or noise of any kind—they are totally silent, all due, of course, to the smoothest ride. This was a problem last year at Christmas when I hung jingle bells off the Mini's tip: they didn't jingle, they just hung there!  I had to move them to the dogs harnesses to make any noise at all!! - Darlette Ratschan, California USA, 2004

Just got back from another ride, I can barely wipe the huge grin off my face! I thought there was nothing that could compare to galloping on a horse, but this comes pretty darn close! - Joanne Parker, Alberta Canada, 2004

With several dog carts and sulkies on the market, I did my research on the benefits of each design, the gear to safely cart with the dogs, and narrowed my choice down to three types of carts. I printed out my choices and went to my vet for his opinion on what was available. He mulled over the information I presented him with, did his own research, and a long agonizing week later he announced that what I know now as a City Mini was his first choice for my boys. - Deborah Harr, Utah USA, 2005.

My friends are looking for ways to get shocks on their easy entry carts. They are jealous of my air ride.  We amaze people when we go flying by. - Barbara Farley, Michigan USA 2004.

Noeline Cassettari of Sydney, Australia, drives and shows her miniature horse Rose in a Mini Sulky. She sent us the following e-mail in 2005 about her experiences using a Mini Sulky at a harness horse event:

We competed in the open section in harness, against the big horses. The judge liked your cart. His offsider told him similar carts were "big in the States". Lots of people asked me questions, had a sit on the cart, etc. One lady was really heavy, and sat on the cart. Everyone noticed that the weight lifted off Rose, and they were all impressed.

One gentleman riding a horse was following along side me, looking with great interest. Finally he said to me, "I can't believe someone has the gumption to go against tradition and design something like that."

So I'm really thrilled. I had the best fun driving her round the show-ground. I notice the other harness horses are always moving. The owners need to keep the horses trotting to keep them calm. Rose is happy just to do whatever, and I'm sure it's because of the cart design. She doesn't care at all that it's there. The other horses seem to be 'running away' from theirs always. I'm so happy that I feel 100% safe with her. I'm so glad the cart fits in the back of my car! And it was good to come home with blue ribbons to show off. So thanks a million!

I'm trying new things, and Rose always feels comfortable, and I always feel safe. I love to see her reach round and scratch her hind leg. I always think to myself - she wouldn't be able to do that in a traditional cart!
